I am feeling very grown up at the moment. I am picking out invitations and it is a long time since I had to do anything like that. I am getting married soon you see and have to organise wedding, evening reception and rehearsal dinner invitations which is hard work. I need to choose something appropriately elegant and charming, classy and formal and I am not really used to it. The last invites I had to organise for my kids birthday invitations and I normally drew those myself and I did get some mardi gras invitations once but they were a disaster so I just hope that I will be able to pick the right thing. My fiancé is away and so it is being left to me to sort it out. I think that I may have to get my Mother and my Mother-in-Law to help me as hopefully they will know what is the right sort of thing for me to choose. I am getting all nervous about it actually because I think that the invitation is the thing which gives people an idea of what to expect from the wedding so it has to reflect the mood of the wedding and that is going to be quite tricky to achieve.
