At long last Sony Ericsson have taken the [plunge for real into smart phone territory and so far I like what I see. The Sony Ericsson X10 specifications are superb and at last Sony Ericsson should be able to compete with the likes of the i Phone and the HTC range of phones. For a lot of people, though, the technical specifications will not be what bowls them over. The X10 is a beautiful design, and people will be swooning when they see the looks of this thing. The phone has been specially designed ti sit snugly in the palm of your hand, and the ergonomic features needed to enable this mean that it looks great too. It still looks chunky in that Sony Ericsson way, but it has a smoothness and rounded finish that other Sony Ericsson’s have failed to deliver in the past.

The phone is a true smart phone with the excellent Android operating system. On top of that the X10 offers the usual gadget that you would expect from a phone at this level. You will be immediately won over by the 8 megapixel camera, and its LED flash. This phone actually makes it worth while to forget all about your decent point and shoot camera – the phone will do just as well for you.
