Now that the elections are getting near, more and more issues are thrown at Manny Villar. It is obvious that the Noynoy and Jamby camps are desperate in making the popular Sen. Manny Villar in bad light so as to give themselves better leverage during the May 10 elections. It is sad because Manny Villar is a man of honor and perseverance. He has the traits of a good leader. He knows how to help our country’s economy perform better. He knows how to make each and every Filipino richer. He was able to carry out principles that made himself rich and able. I and a lot of other Filipinos believe that he can use these same principles to help the Philippines become richer. I admire Manny Villar as he was able to make himself a successful business tycoon and a well respected goverment official out of hard work and perseverance. Unlike Noynoy, Jamby, Gloria, and other goverment officials, Manny Villar did not have a relative to help him become a political figure. It is sad that issues regarding the villar c5 controversy are being thrown at him. Allegations of him stealing a lot of money and manipulating goverment decisions for his personal gains. It is even sadder that after he was cleared of the c5 villar issue, people started linking him to Arroyo and questioning his ethics as a senator. No matter what they say and what else comes out of the villar c5 issue, I still believe that Manny Villar is the man who can improve our economy, govern, and lead our country to prosperity.
